Menu lists while scrolling have a lot of lags (e.g SMS view). I hope Nokia improve this before first performance of this phone.

@itsparam3 it will be launched in all countries to make sure go to nokia.com and choose India then try and look at devices under products, if it says this phone is coming soon then it is.

iPhone is so badass because its hardware and interface is just superior. No Touchscreen on the promote nearly works as splendid and reliable as the iPhone´s does. Not a terrible phone too but iPhone plays in a higher league. You can say what you want by now there is rudimentary no iPhone Killer on the promote.

@scrote12345 If you mean the “horizontal use”, it also automatically turns the interface vertically when you turn the phone.

@qwerrty123098 Lulz OMFG you don’t know shit about developing. Quest qt on Wikipedia and it will show you that QT is a framework not a developing language – “Qt uses standard C++”. That was the most retarded thing you could’ve ever said. Do your homework before you say shit. It is not simple at all to import apps from Android or iOS. I have developed apps before I would know. I just told you Symbian is the third slowest and certainly needs higher specs. Android @1GHZ is quicker than Symbian@680Mh

This makes it simpler to import apps from adroit and ios.
Symbian is outdated and I choose. But that’s coz of the avkon UI which will be removed in s^4 and it will be more attractive.
Do you still not get the processor thing? SYMBIAN DOESN’T NEED HIGH SPECS! 680MHz is enough for it to function smoothly. And the GPU is VERY powerful and takes load off CPU. it also ensures better battery life. Just look at how many features N8 sports

@qwerrty123098 I’ve really made apps and can tell you first hand that It is not simple to import apps from Android or IOS to Symbian. Android is Java and iOS is Objective-C. Both of which are huge magnitudes different from C++. Not many devs at all are attracted to Symbian because they’re losing promote share not gaining. More than 50% of contemporary Symbian users say they’re next phone is not going to be Symbian. The Hardware for today’s standards is terrible. Everyone is by 1 Ghz processors

@qwerrty123098 Android is absolutely free. How is it controlled by Google. Android is a Open Source project so Google doesn’t do it’s develop they just give money to advertise. Also you can sell your apps anywhere with Android as well. On any website you can post an app and on Android you can download and install it. Also Google doesn’t even touch the Android Promote. Even the craziest porn apps they just let through. They even had an app to root your Android which Google frowns upon.

@Masterchief2400 Hardware on N8 isn’t that terrible. 680 MHz sounds low but is perfect for symbian. It consumes less power and still allows smooth performance. Don’t forget that s^3 is just an evolution. So no visual change. S^4 will be a revolution. N8 MIGHT get the upgrade. Ovi store has about 4000 apps and is increasing. And now with at compatibility, building apps will be simpler and it will be simple to import apps from android and ios. So NOW, ovi will get much better and attract many devs
