This is a splendid looking case. I really liked the metallic, yet somehow soft, red end. In addition, it’s molded around the front of the case in such a way as to expose a bit of the chrome frame around the edge of the phone which is a nice touch. I’ve received many greetings on it. l I was concerned about the ring “button” on the back being a problem but it hasn’t been an issue. My only protest is that it’s a bit hard to remove the bottom half of the case if you want to use the phone in a dock. It’s certainly simpler than most cases, but not quite as nice as the Slider Incase Slider Case for iPhone 3G – Black (CL59055). But the incredible appearance and lower bulk of this case more than outweigh that disadvantage.
Pros:
Goes on and off easily.
Can remove the bottom half to use a dock.
Simple access to all controls.
Fits snugly to the phone and locks on.
Has “felt” pads surrounded by to protect the phone’s end.
Allows the chrome edge of the phone to be seen.
Cons:
Relief button on the back makes the phone rock slightly when typing on a hard surface.
Removing the bottom to dock isn’t quite as simple as I’d like. Rating: 4 / 5

Excellent looking case, splendid price. I was so pleased the day I got it and for the first 7 days. Naturally I take covers off to clean phone and rid it of any dust trapped behind. To my horror the backside was terribly scratched after the first removal. Now every time I pull the cover off, many new scratches appear around the curved edges and around the camera lense. My more expensive contour cover had by no means scratched the back of the phone before but it is now messy thanks to the I frogz product. Looks excellent, works OK! Rating: 3 / 5

This is the 3rd case I’ve gotten for various iPhones and it is absolutely the best looking case. I really got it in metallic orange. Seriously, the Genius’s at the Apple Store were ooohing and ahhhing, asking me where I got it.
Fits snugly and covers all areas but the buttons, earphone jack, and screen. Covers all but a crack of the silver bezel on the front and I believe it will stop any scratches and dents happening on the bezel.
Very pleased with it and I’m thinking of getting another color. Too terrible they don’t make them for the original iPhone because my wife is jealous. Rating: 5 / 5

I bought this based on the excellent reviews on Amazon, but I have been momentously disappointed and I’ve only have it a couple of hours!
1) It doesn’t fit! I know everyone says it is a tight fit, that was why I bought it, but as much as I push & shove there is still very nearly a 1/16″ gap at the back and it won’t lock together.
2) The red metallic paint has scratched just trying to get it on, leaving silver spots. How is it going to carry on in my handbag?
3) It scratched the back of my iPhone on the first attempt at getting it on
4) It pulls up the bottom corners of the screen protector, causing air foam.
Did I just get a dud? I’m not sure, but I’m very miserable with the practicality of this product, even though it looks lovely Rating: 2 / 5

Bought an iFrogs Luxe case the same day I bought my iPhone 3Gs, and at first was impressed. The case fit nicely, and everything lined up as it should. Initial impressions were positive ones. It protected well, and wasn’t hard to remove from pockets at all. Should be a 5 star assess then. Then came the terrible…
I own a white iPhone 3Gs. White phones show things a black phone won’t. My phone showed that the coloring of the iFrogz Luxe is PAINTED on, and not a molded in color. 1 week after buy I took the case off, and noticed that I had blue PAINT on my new white iPhone from the case! I was furious. This revelation showed two relative flaws in this case.
1) Color is not permanent on this case. It will rub off onto your phone
2) the placement of the color shows that it seems to placing pressure on the upper edges of my iPhone and making a wear/friction spots on both the case and the plastic part of the iPhone.
There are better cases on the promote than this, but there are also worse cases. Final tally? A 3 out of 5. Rating: 3 / 5
